Parables

There are two things that are generally known about Jesus Christ of Nazareth that are beyond historical doubt. First, is that Jesus was crucified. Second, is that Jesus taught in parables. Parables are stories that convey a deeper meaning or truth. Jesus had the means to convey spiritual truth in any matter he preferred yet chose to do so through story and symbol. To follow Jesus, it is important for us to understand and interpret the meaning of these parables for they offer us a window into God’s truth that is often concealed or hidden by this world.
