For thousands of years, and for millions of people the Psalms have given us a way to express our hearts to God by giving voice to the entire experience of being human, and to do it both honestly and thoroughly. Which isn’t always an easy thing to do. Praying the Psalms isn’t a way to get more from God, but a way to get more of God in our hearts.
